restricted word wrap with Kontact (Kmail)

Hi

When using Kmail to compose e-mail, the word wrap only seems to extend to 78 columns, is this normal as it only uses one third of the page and looks weird.
No such problems if i use Thunderbird but i just like the Kontact package.

Thanks

Eric

In KMail go to Settings --> Configure KMail. On the Composer page there is a word wrap setting. You can turn it off completely or set it to another number. 78 is pretty standard though because people using text terminals or monitors which much lower resolution than yours can still read the mail easily.

Thansk for the reply.

Does this mean that people may have problems reading mail i send with Thunderbird which uses the whole screen?

Funny thing is, it won't go above 78, no problems going down though.
