Restore MP3 playing...please help. (QT problem)

Okay, I'm using fedora core 2...and trying to fix the mp3 playback thing. So far, I've followed

http://www.holovaty.com/linux/fedorafaq/kde_mp3.html

And have got to this step:

Quote:
Compile the RPM. Make sure you have the package rpm-build installed. (If you don't, run the command yum install rpm-build as root to install it.) Then, as root, run the command rpmbuild -bb /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/kdemultimedia.spec.
The command works fine, but once it gets to QT...

Quote:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.35957 (%build)

RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.35957 (%build)
I'm guessing it isn't finding the correct QT directory. I got qt 3.2.2...and re configured it to use threads. It's located in /usr/local/qt

How can I set this to work right?
