Hi all I’m a new Linux/BSD user and am looking for advise. I want to remote desktop to my Win2k and OpenBSD (KDE) from my SUSE Linux computer. I have no experience with any remote desktop software am looking for what software is the easiest to set up. Links to how-to guides would be appreciated. All of this would be on my home lan behind a firewall so speed and security are not an issue right now, but something with SSH would be nice.
I would look into vnc, both for the windows and bsd machine. This creates an X desktop [in the case of bsd] session which you can use, or just opens up the windows desktop in the case of windows. It can also be tunnelled through ssh, if need be.
