Unhappy Pure-ftpd-mysql + Sarge

Hi,

please help me!

According to official doc (at the prureftpd site / docs / Readme.mysql) -
1. I get the package (apt-get install pure-ftpd-mysql);
2. then I created a database (proftpd), a table (users) in it, and I inserted a testaccount user, pass, gid, uid, dir;
3. after these I setup the /etc/pure-ftpd/db/mysql.conf to reach the database. (without any extras (chroot,bandwidth limit,etc))
And this was the last I can handle. The next point (in doc) is completely confuses me :

""Save the configuration file anywhere. Let's say /etc/pureftpd-mysql.conf .

Then, you have to run the pure-ftpd command with '-l mysql:' (it's an 'ell'
not a 'one') followed by the path of that configuration file. Here's an
example with tcpserver:

tcpserver -DHRl0 0 21 /usr/local/bin/pure-ftpd -l mysql:/etc/pureftpd-mysql.conf &"

What it means "run" the pure-ftpd ??! There is no any pure-ftpd command..
(only pure-ftpd-mysql and some others, except pure-ftpd)
What the hell is that tcpserver ?? Am I really need that ?

After all, I tried to start the stuff (/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd-mysql) and result was.. nothing. even a single started or failed. I just get a new a prompt.
When I tried to connect via ftp (from localhost) the next error appear:
"Can't exec "/usr/sbin/pure-ftpd": No such file or directory at /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd-wrapper line 174".

What should I do?

Thanks in advance

I find out the solution.

Probably only in Sarge and with package, but simply "apt-get install pure-ftpd-mysql" is'nt works, even if it get the pure-ftpd-common too.
The good way is :
1. apt-get install pure-ftpd-common (choose standalone method)
2. apt-get install pure-ftpd-mysqld
3. create a database with user(s)
4. setup the config file
5. /etc/init.d/pure-ftpd-mysql.
