pulseaudio config on raspbian

Hi all, it is mainly about my sound setup. The system is:
RPi2 with the latest raspbian jessie lite and currently nothing else. Later I want to install lxde-core, exagear and skype (and also an eFace 1300 usb mic + video plugged in).

My problem is - at this moment - there is no sound. Actually wav files played correctly, but when I try to play an mp3 all I get is some noise instead of voice. I'm lost.
I have never configured pulseaudio earlier, so probably there was only a single/simple step missing, but I have no idea.

sounds more like a codec problem to me.
what app are you using to play the mp3?
do you have required (iirc, something with "lame" in it) codecs installed?

it is possible that mp3 codecs are not installed by default on debian.
the packages responsible for mp3 playback seem to be "lame" and "libmp3lame0".

if that still doesn't help, please the exact commands.
