ProFTPD extremely slow

My server is running ProFTP. For some reason, whenever I try to upload files to my server via FTP, it takes forever! I wait a bit while the files are transferring, and all of a sudden

Quote:
451 admin.php: Append/Restart not permitted, try again
ERROR:> Temporary completion problem reply.
STATUS:> Waiting 10 seconds...
and then this keeps happening until I completely disconnect and reconnect again. When uploading using SFTP via the SSH protocol, it works perfectly.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Nevermind, I just had to enable the restart option.
