problems w/ firefox

recently my firefox has been having troubles.. I belive that I have the latest version..
Last night ever time I went to the hotmail website, it crashed and closed itself..
and I was able to get to hotmail just fine with konquerer, so.. I have no clue what it's problem was.. and it was doing just fine in every other program..
the strange thing is... my linux system has been behaving like windows.. I'm going to be doing a memcheck .. because it seems to me that maby that might be the probelm.. however specifically to the hotmail thing, I think that that's actually a conflict that is specific to firefox. what does anyone else think?

Are you having other 'odd' occurences beyond firefox? And is that the only site that trips firefox up?

If you're afraid you have physical memory problems, try MemTest86. Download the ISO (very, very smal) and burn it to a CD. Boot off the CD and it will tell you if it finds memory issues. It's pretty thorough.

The site:
