I am setting up a webserver where I own the domain. I am running sendmail and I am able to recieve e-mail on the server, send e-mail, relay e-mail sent in outlook through the server to any valid e-mail address. The only thing I cannot do is pop the mail off the server to outlook.

I am able to make connection using "telnet MyDomain 25" on both the server console and from my windows machine.

"telnet MyDomain 110" will make a connection when run on the local server, but will NOT connect from my windows box.

I am using a router which port 110 is properly mapped to my server and the port has been opened on the firewall.

I am running Red Hat Linux 9 using sendmail and ipop3.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the linux software firewall as well as your router's firewall?
iptables -nL
