I replaced "." with "dot", replaced "/" with "slash", and put slashes between things like h/t/t/p/:/\ and U/R\L/, just to bypass the rule of not being able to post a u/r\l/ unless you've already made 5 threads. This is my first post, and I think that rule is absurd.
I am in the process of installing KDevelop 3.0.0b2. But that's not exactly the point. You see, KDevelop has many other things it depends on. Some of them are necessary. Some are optional. I am having a problem installing this program because I cannot find one of the dependencies of it on the Internet. You can find the official list of KDevelop requirements at h/t/t/p/:/\ www dot kdevelop dot org slash index dot html?filename=requirements dot html. I have installed every requirement except for one called "Clearcase" (>= version 4.0). There is a link to it's website provided, so I obviously clicked on it. Then I get a web page error. Boohoo. Every time I were to click on the link, I get this message:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Error 400
Proxy Error: Unable to Resolve host name "d03xhttpcl001g dot gwa dot boulder dot ibm dot com" - U/R/L\ "h/t/t/p/:/\ d03xhttpcl001g dot gwa dot boulder dot ibm dot com slash software slash awdtools slash clearcase slash".

First of all, I have no clue what this really means. I searched around the Internet for a while to try and find another place to get this "Clearcase" thingy, and the only thing that looked significant was in a language which is rather foreign to me. Shoot. I'm asking you to go to the requirements page using the link above, scroll down until you find the thing about the Clearcase requirement, and go to the Clearcase page using the link on the requirements page. Tell me what happens when you go there. Is it the same thing for you? If you have any clue what might be wrong, tell me. Also, please, if possible, direct me to where I can find Clearcase (>= version 4.0). It's only an optional requirement, but I just want to have KDevelop's full possibilities.
