problem with gnupg between linux / windows
Hi,
I have sylpheed-claws 0.93 installed on my linux-box (slack9), and
run it with GnuPG, and it works fine with encrypt and sign mails.
My Friend uses Windows and the Program WinPT (Windows Privacy Tray),
which he uses to Encrypt text using copy&paste, and then put the
encrypted text into the mailbody.
So far, so good. But we have a huge communication problem.
When I send encrypted messages using sylpheed, the text is not in normal
encrypted form in the body, it is in an encrypted attachment, like this:
[application/pgp-encrypted (53 bytes)]
[application/octet-stream (1055 bytes)]
But When I receive a mail from my friend, the body of the mail looks like:
-----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----
Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (MingW32) - WinPT 0.7.96rc1
hQIOA5Wzn6z44JKJEAf7BJh1P7OrYs292pHt/6mYAYOzqjBPBtgK2Gc352xNRpf/

[... snip ... ]

B+X9
=cQhQ
-----END PGP MESSAGE-----
Well, the problem is that I cant decrypt his mails with the text in the body,
because sylpheed only recognizes mails with encrypted attachments as
encrypted, and he cant read my mails because he cant copy / paste
my encrypted attachments, and when he is using webmail he dont even
see these attachments.
Well, this is very much of a problem for us.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Help would very much be appreciated.
Cheers,
-shad
