Question gnupg

hello,
i have installed gnupg 1.0.7 under linux, and when i type gpg -h the version displayed is still gnupg 1.0.6.
what should be done to have the correct version launched and remove the older ie 1.0.6? I think it is a link or path problem, but not sure?
thank you

hi, try typing

which gpg

this will show you where the gpg that is running is located. then you can check the path that you installed v1.0.7 to and correct it.

thank you for your reply
i think that the default version ie 1.0.6 is located under /usr/bin and the one compiled by myself under /usr/local/bin.
where can i find the path file to correct it?

why not just rename the old one (or ditch it) and symlink it to your new version.
