Actually, in windows, I can print the entire page including the applets simply by using the print button of the browser(firefox). I can also print to file which will create a postscript of the webpage with the applets intact. Other tools in windows such as pdfCreator(acts as print driver) will create a pdf version of the webpage which also keeps the applets intact. But for some reason, none of this works in linux. The applets are always absent when I try to print out to a printer, or print to file in linux.
I need this done programmatically so taking a snapshot of the webpage is not an option for me. There has to be a tool out there for linux that does this, there seems to be an abundant array of tools for windows, but it's so hard to find one for linux.
