I have two servers:
1st server = Postfix + poppassd
2nd server = Squirrelmail as it's webmail

Now I need a way for my users to change their passwords via SM. I saw this change_pass plugin for SM and it looks ideal solution for my problem.

So I installed poppassd to my 1st server. I can do telnet ($ telnet localhost 106) and change my password just fine but when I tried to telnet from the 2nd server to the 1st server I receive

Connection closed by foreign host.

I already tried to put my iptables down and blank my hosts.deny but still no good.

I've working for this in days... can anybody help me please?

BTW, I'm using shadow as my authentication because for some reason poppassd won't work with PAM.
