Angry Polygonal 2D image deformation software

Hello.

I'm looking for software that can polygonally transforms pictures. Deforming means that you can specify complex polygonal shape (set of points, lines and polygons) in one picture, deformed shape with same topology in other picture and then transform 1st picture so it'll fit geometry in 2nd. This might be 3D editor (blender can't do that), or some kind of 2D editor.

For 3D editor following requirements apply:
0) Should have UV-editor that can display texture on background.
1) SHould support texturing in viewports.
2) Should allow me to do precisely following:
2.1) Create square in 2D view.
2.2) Add more points to the square by clicking mouse. "Add points" means that when I click on the square, editor adds point in the middle of existing polygon and retriangulates it, so the new point will be part of polygon. No deviations from this requirement is allowed. Ideally I should be able to create edges in same way - right in the middle of polygon, by clicking points. (blender fails here)
2.3) Apply "mirror" modifier.
2.4) Apply "planar UV map" to the object, so the UV coordinates will be calculated from world position. (blender fails here)
2.5) Select another texture in UV editor, modify UV coordinates for all vertices.

What software can do that? I already wasted two hours doing this in blender, only to find out that blender don't have planar UV map/unwrap, I also don't know any image editor with "polygonal foto deformation" feature.
This thing is extremely basic in commercial 3D editors, I could do it in 3dsmax, but I don't have it. I could also write software that does precisely what I want, but this might take several days, maybe even more than a week. Gimp doesn't have such plugin (didn't found it, at least), although someone requested such feature several months ago.

Any suggestions?

Problem solved by using gmax+windows. If someone know software aimed for image deformation (like i mentioned), please, post it here.
