I currently have pieced together all the hardware that i need to convert my playstation 2 into a pc/server. I am looking for a way to get linux installed on it. Sony will not sell the the ps2 linux distro DVD w/o buying the entire kit. BlackRhino is free but doesn't include an installer. The only way to use Black Rhino linux is to first have PS2 Linux already installed and then mount Black Rhino onto the file system. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get Linux on my Playstation?

Wanted to bring this to the current discussions to see if there is now a response. I've just bought a PS2 and I have a copy of Black Rhino for future installation. Looked into the installation and it's still in need of PS2 Linux first.

Any suggestions?
