I'm using pine to view my GMail. But it only shows new messages. If I exit pine and relaunch it, any message I have already read will be gone, and I dont know where they go. Is this a setting I'm missing, or maybe GMail messing up Pine?
Can you please stop posting junk. You are unnecessarily removing other peoples threads from the zero reply list which can minimise the chance of them getting help.
How are you getting your GMail messages? Are you using POP or IMAP? Are you using something like Fetchmail to get the messages? What happens when you post a message to yourself from your machine, without the message having to leave the local network? Do local messages also disappear?
