Question How to use pine for unix move mail?

I have just arrived my new university and here they deliver mails in /var/spool/mail or something like that, and this is shared all over through NFS. I can use 'mail' and 'thunderbird' just fine with localhost as server, while with kmail I had to define the directory too.

I want to use pine though. What is the way to do it with pine? I gave user-domain as localhost but it didn't work.
