Pidgin IM client Question

I have a question about Pidgin IM client. Is there a plugin to make links posted on status by friends clickable?

I not sure I understand your question. Any links that are posted in the irc channel I follow with pidgin are clickable. I am not sure about the regular im's because I don't have many people that would im me. But as I remember they are clickable. So could you give a little better description of your issue.

Well i don't use pidgin as an IRC client, and yes, the links i receive in messages are clickable. I am talking about when i view my friend list and some of them post links on their status. Those are not clickable and neither selectable. I mean i can't select or click them, the only way for me to visit a link on someone's status is to type it myself in a browser. That's my problem.

I see what you mean. I placed a link in my status and then checked with another machine and the website is manual entry only. I even pulled up a chat window and the link was in the title but unusable except for manual entry.

I would think a bug/feature report would be in order

A google search should point you to the pidgin home page. I would think that there should be bug report instructions there somewhere.
