PHP problem after RH9 to FC2 upgrade
I'm having a problem with PHP after upgrading a server from Redhat 9 to Fedora Core 2. I had a website on the RH9 server that was working fine. After copying the whole thing over to a Fedora Core 2 system it stopped working. I started getting an error "redirection limit for this url exceeded". The user authenication code for the pages (all written in PHP) did contain HEADER (Location: url) redirects... but there were only a couple and they definitely weren't stuck in a loop (all worked fine on RH9). I managed to fix the problem by copying my old php.ini over to the new system but I'd consider that just a temporary fix (who knows what else that could effect). So... what variables could cause this? The one I copied from RH9 was 100% stock and never altered.
