Patent violation issues

Hey Guys

Ever since I got into Linux, (only 2 years ago ),
Patent violations have been a big issue.

What I want to know is, is there a website, where I can download full versions of Mplayer, Kaboodle, XINE, etc without the restrictions.

DivX support seems to be missing from SuSE 8.2, and I have had problems trying to install OGLE due to conflicts with Mplayer.

Please somebody, tell me where to download unrestricted versions of these (once upon a time) legendary programs.
(If possible in RPM downloads , I'm chronically lazy)

Thanks Guys
