Segment violation


What is that?.

I have installed a new software, when I run the command
./IVIS3D (name of the program)

the following message appears on screen

Xlib: connection to "0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Segment violation

How about trying to run it as the user that
owns the x-session?
