oracle 10 best distro?


Hi i justwant to install as most as possible from the oracle 10 programs (Sever & clients). What do u think that the best distro for installing the Oracle wuold be? How much disk space i must have for such an installation? 10gb are enough?

help !!!

I know that what i am doing is not correct....but i need today to create partitions to my h/d and install a distro ..... So what distro will you suggest me? How much h/d space is needed?

If you are looking for support from Oracle in future, you should stick with either Red Hat or Suse I'm not sure If they support anyone else.

fedora is ok?
And whata about the h/d requiremetns? Do u think that 5gb are enough or is hould use 10?

I don't know anything about fedora.

5 gig will be enough for an installation but you may need more depending on the size of the database.
