Question Opera - changes to newly opened tab


I am trying to get opera to open tabs like firefox. when i click on a link i want to view on a page the tab opens up but it does not change the page so that i can look at the tab i just opened later instead of changing inmedatly. how can i get opera to work this way. thanks
