opera browser problem

have installed opera. now having problem with a web site that won,t close. have clicked on windows in opera taskbar, and clicked close windows. but it keeps poppin up. any suggestions, i, m lost on what to do here?

well, think i sort of solved the problem with not being able to close web page, went into the opera directory and deleted everything. no more web pages that won,t close, hope i didn,t delete things i needed

Stay away from those pr0n sites?

Open a term window, find "Opera's pid, and kill it:

ps -ax <-- find Opera's pid in the list of processes, then:
kill <pid> or
kill -9 <pid>

Restart Opera and see the problem is cleared up. Opera might just be choking on something in that particular site's code.
