this is a question for opera users... does anyone else using opera always get a dialog box when trying to type in a url? every time i go to type in a url this box interrupts me and has the following options,

'open with netscape'

'open with konqueror'

'edit and process again'

'do nothing'...

this dialog box only appears in opera. ive been ignoring this for a while but typing urls 2x everytime is really starting to get old! does anyone know if this is coming from opera, konqueror, or somewhere else.. and if so have you had any luck disabling it?

if youve never used opera i'd reccomend trying it.. its definately fast! its a little buggy sometimes but its still better than most.... http://www.opera.com/linux

It might be coming from Gnome. I see this box (in a useful context) if say there is a URL in the Gnome Terminal somewhere.. if I go and highlight the URL with the mouse then this box appears, which is wonderful. It doesn't happen with my Opera 5 install though. Sorry I can't be of more help.
