open gl problem

i just installed enemy territory on mandrake 10.1 and the installation went fine but when it try to open the game it says, "could not load open gl subsystem."

how do i fix this problem?

i have a chaintech GeForce FX5200

install 3D drivers for that card...
that should be problem.

the 2.6.9 kernel is QUITE PROBLEMATIC for a lot of people. It has lots of problems using the nvidia drivers, especially opengl and nvidia-glx. If you were using gentoo linux, I could tell you what to do, because that is what I am using and that is what I had problems with. I think if you tried the 2.6.8 kernel, you would have more success getting your nvidia drivers to work.

The mods will end up closing all the threads you keep generating about the same thing - they tend to do that!.

Theres relevant info about what you need to do to update/install your kernel sources and install the nvidia drivers etc in you posts above!
