Older version of Falkon browser has terrible bugs - are the newer versions better?

I have been using the Falkon browser as my main browser for some time now and the bugs are starting to really bother me now.

These bugs have been observed across several computers and operating systems.

As bad as this seems this is nothing compared to when I used to use Konqueror as a browser.

I wanted to preserve these bugs for posterity and hopefully motivate myself to finally take a few weeks, months or years to do an upgrade and fix all the broken stuff.

These bugs are listed in order of personal importance.

1. Copy text stops working but paste still works.
Historical Insult: This worked consistently on every computer since the beginning of time except for now.
Thoughts: This makes me feel violent. An incredible amount of work and time lost.

2. Unable to restore previous tabs after a crash.
Historical Insult: A Mozilla feature from around 2000 or so.
Thoughts: Absolutely 100% horrible inexcusable behavior. I have lost everything and broken down because of this.

3. Downloads fail around the 95% mark with no ability to resume.
Historical Insult: I think Internet Explorer on Windows 2000 could do this.
Thoughts: You could lose the ability to download a file PERMANENTLY because people think you are hacking by trying to download a file over and over. This is brutal.

4. Inability to view entire discussion on reddit.
Historical Insult: I won't provide a historical anecdote here.
Thoughts: Many search queries for problems return reddit pages and this makes researching impossible.

5. After downloading anything the browser freezes for about 1 minute.
Historical Insult: This specific performance is lower than a 80486 system.
Thoughts: I have gotten to the point where I try not to ever download anything.

6. The page starts tiny in the upper left of the screen and waits to expand.
Historical Insult: Loading pages is definitely slower than in the 1990s with an ISDN connection.
Thoughts: Over time this can amount to a huge productivity slowdown.

7. No sound because pulseaudio is a requirement.
Historical Insult: No fighting sound problems on other operating systems since forever.
Thoughts: apulse might be able to be used here and it is less bad than the other bugs

8. No youtube because everything but the video itself is a whitespace.
Historical Insult: This may be a youtube problem but still annoying.
Thoughts: Too bad that youtube is always changing and making things obsolete. Overall less of a priority.

9. No way to return a tab that becomes a window back to the main window.
Historical Insult: This is one of those features that do not make sense to begin with.
Thoughts: Heaven help you if you remove a tab with an order that you have placed online.

I hit the copy paste bug again today, lost 4 hours of work, and flipped out and finally posted this.

Why not use a mainstream browser? Obscure browsers are usually poorly written and poorly maintained, and often unsupported by websites.

Per the Falkon website, the current release is v. 3.1.0, released in March 2019. What version are you using?
