NVdia Drivers won't install.

When I try to run the setup, it says that I have an X server running, whic Is false since I alt+ctrl+F1ed out of it. I tried to search for posts or in the README that explained this But I couldn't find anything.

Arghh.

ctrl-alt-f1 doesn't kill xserver. i just learned that a few days ago. apparently you need to kill xserver after ctrl-alt-f1 by typing "init 3". or you can edit your /etc/inittab and change the run level to 3 and reboot.
