No source found at cd

I'm new to linux and so not sure what to do. When installing the linux cd it gets to the page "Installation settings" . At that point I get a no source found at 'cd:///;devices=/dev/hdc'. . it tells me to add software, but I'm not able to add any. does any one know what I can do to fix this.

thanks smilie3200

trying to install SUSE LINUX 9.3
the message I get is no source found at 'cd:///;devices=/dev/hdc'. it comes up when it checks for software
during the install. If I open yasy package manager it gives me options to install or remove but there is nothing in there.

Thanks for the distro info ... I meant what was the exact message about adding software.

Also, looking at this a second time, I am wondering if perhaps your installation CD is defective. Does it have some kind of a self check on it? (Like "test this cd," "check md5sums," or something similar.) If so, I would suggest you use it.
