Im am installing (or should I say "attempting" to install) Foobillards on my FC3 notebook. However I am met with the following error
***
error: Failed dependencies:
libGLcore.so.1 is needed by foobillard-3.0a-1.i586
***
Some online research had eluded to this necessary file being part of an NVidia driver package. Here's the problem, I don't have an NVidia display device. I have an ATI Radeon 9000 (yes, with the lastest and greatest drivers from ATI).
Is there another solution other than Foobillards only being able to run in a display device from a specific manufacturer? Or, is it safe to assume there is indeed a way for it to runon my ATI card?
You certainly are ... all I was trying to say is that I don't think
it's tied to NVidia cards ... of course (again) I can't say that
for sure ... it may just as well be a question of how X has
been set-up/compiled ...
