How to install libGLcore.so.1
Hi,
I am trying to install qtella (a Napster Clone) , but gnoRPM and KPackageManager say that it depends upon libGLcore.so.1.
Where can I find this file and how can I install it.
BTW, do you guys think that dependencies are a big stumbling block in proper installation of Linux Software. Can you guide me to a software that can automatically check for dependecies and then install them for me. OR at elast tell me where I can get the files needed.
Thankx in advance...

qtella is NOT a napster clone. qtella is a gnutella client, which is a very different thing...
anyway... go to rpmfind.net and search for the file you are missing, and install the relevant rpm out of the results you get.

OK,
I downloaded the RPM. Its actually within the NVISIA driver for Linux. Howvere, no this RPM requires other RPMs to get installed :-(
Is it a vicious circle
Thankx in advance...

nividia? i presume you have a geforce...
i can't see why on earth qtella wants GL, maybe because it's a bunh of junk, i'd recommend gtk-gnutella instead, but you should be fine to force the installation
rpm -ivh --force qtella.rpm
