Hi all

I am new user in Proftp. I have installed proftp with
suse 9. First it seem to be clear and i can run the
proFtp server. But i don't know some thing wrong with

user guide. Now my proble is :

Quote:
root@husni:/# proftpd status
husni.mms.co.id - fatal: Socket operation on
non-socket
husni.mms.co.id - (Running from command line? Use
`ServerType standalone' in config file!)
I tried to look at many forums and mr Google, but i

I hope some one can help me to solve this problem

ServerType inetd

Change to

ServerType standalone

Job done Unless you are launching from inetd (or xinitd) then you _need_ to use the standalone option.

Try this to help out with your config: http://www.proftpd.org/docs/configs/basic.conf
