Smile Need an application to disable region code in DVDs

Hello,

I've downloaded a movie via torrent, burned it on dvd, but I can't get my hardware player (Panasonic S-29) to play it because of different region code (DVD is region 1, while the player doesn't support it).
So, I need some software to disable or change region settings in DVD movie.

Thanks,

Tom Nyskelo

I'm not sure, but you might need libdvdcss, there's a SlackBuild for it here:

Thanks, brianL, but libdvdcss is needed to play encrypted DVDs on Linux, which is not the problem. The problem is that I can't play them on my Panasonic S-29.

Thanks anyway

Ah, I must have read your question too quickly and missed the fact it was a separate DVD player.
