I'm having a problem with Nautilus and copying files. Nautilus will not copy the files in folders recursively that have spaces in their names or certain long filenames to removable media such as my zip drive or pen drive. It will copy the folder to another hard drive fine! I can go into the folders and select all the files and then it will copy them, but not by just selecting a folder with those files in them! It will only copy the folder and those files in it without spaces.

I have not copied much in the past couple of weeks but the last time I copied files or folders to my zip disk or pen drive, everything was fine! If I go into a terminal window and use:

cp -r folder name destination

Everything works as expected!

Does anyone have any ideas about how I can fix this!! I am running Debian Sid if that makes a difference...
