Red face Nasty tsclient error

I am running the tsclient 0.132 on hoary Ubuntu and am getting this error when I try to connect to a Windows VNC server using fullscreen mode:

h t t p://img92.exs.cx/img92/2594/screenshotterminalserverclient.png

(as a noob I can't post links yet, but the screenshot is necessary to see what's going on....sorry)

Windowed mode works fine other than an error message on exit, but if I enable fullscreen mode all I get is the above error. It looks like a generic invalid syntax error, so I have really nothing to go on.

Thank you.

I didn't run a command though - this is the GUI tsclient that's included with hoary Ubuntu. It seems like the frontend is passing an invalid syntax to the program, but that's just a guess on my part. I can't really use anything but the fullscreen option because the PCs I'm connecting to are running a higher resolution. Anything less than fullscreen isn't usable.

If you run vncviewer from the command line does it give you the same error?

Excellent. I had tried this earlier, but I was getting a "cannot open display" error, which I thought was a connection issue to the server, but I later found out that I was logged into a terminal as root but into X as my regular username. I can now connect with the command line and get a full screen display. The only problem I'm having now is trying to exit vncviewer. What keyboard combo should I use? Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind. It's in the man page, who knew?
