Mythtv, Bttv, Pinnacle 878, tv-card, faild to open the card

Hi!

I've just installed mythtv, everything works fine except my tv-card (pinnacle pctv 878-chip), or actually it does, but not with mythtv.

When I use it with TVtime, there are no problems, however when I try to set it up in mythtvsetup it doesn't work to well.

In mythtvsetup, I can add it in Capture cards, and when I select it I can read the following information:

Analog V4L capture card
Video dev /dev/video0
Probed info: Bt878 video (Pinnacle PCTV stud [bttv]
VBI device: /dev/vbi
Audio device: /dev/dsp1
Audio sampling rate limit: None
Default input: Television

And in menu item 4, Input connections, all available inputs are listened. (television, composite1 and S-video).

Now comes the problem:
When I choose television (in Input connections), and tryes to scan for channels, the scan-window comes up, but both the fields for Video Source and Capture Card is empty and in Scan type, it's written: Failed to open the card.

The same happens if I try under Channel editior (menu item 5)

Please help me!

And excuse my bad english.

I think I have a solution (seems to work for me).

Some type of problem because the kernell loads the bttv module before the tuner.
So if you type:
Code:
modprobe -r b878
modprobe -r bttv
modprobe -r tuner
modprobe tuner
modprobe bttv
It would probably work.

If you/someone knows how to change the bootorder permanently, please tell me!
