Hi!

I suspect that Rosegarden could be a choice for you:
http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/

It is a Cubase -like system. However you might be interested in my question regarding configuring/installing/using Rosegarden on Fedora Core 2

If you are running a 32bit system and want an easy to install sound/video editing system on RedHat I would suggest installing Fedora Core 1 and Planet CCRMA
