Question multiple email problem

Needed help here.......... I have been using Redhat 7.2 with sendmail "sendmail-8.11.6-3" in my enviroment. My user has no complains until this past six months or so. apparently some of them has been receiving an accounts of multiple email per sender that they receive. Meaning, emails in twos and threes from various sender, (ie sender a send one email, but two mail is being received my the recepient who uses my sendmail server). This is really irritating as i 've been trying to solve this issue for a while now without have any luck! Sometimes my sendmail user would received more that 50 mails from the same user in a day.

For those case i would modify my /etc/mail/access file and block the sender for a day till the mail stops. But this is not a good solution. Any of you guys out there could help me with this?

Thanking you all in advances.
