Multi-Threaded download manager.

Hey, besides wxdfast, I was wondering if there were any decent multi-threaded download managers out there?
wxdfast seems buggy at best and keeps crashing.

Thanks.

wget is not multi-threaded. I am looking for a download 'accelerator' if you like. something that makes multiple http get requests and splits the download stream into chunks, speeding up download times. wxdfast does this, orbit downloader for windows does this too.
I was just looking for one that people here have had good experiences with.

Thanks.

DownThemAll for Firefox/Iceweasel, can be found with the search Addons-function and can be configured how many download-threads it should use.

I have used axel and it seemed to be stable and used both the cores on that system. Used it on a live cd downloaded and installed to ram. Downloaded some ftp site for a few days. Worked good.
