-vo SDL makes things run niceley BUT at full screen. I do like this feature and use it most of the time but I'd also like to watch a movie in a window so i can work on other things.

I have a SiS651 video card (onboard) so this is poses a problem I feel...

i tried -vo Xv and it will not output anything... (where is Xv configuration files)?

use "-vo xv" not "-vo Xv" i assume it's case sensitive.... there are no configuration files for it.... run "xvinfo" to see if your card does support xv output.

You can use also "-vo x11 -zoom" if no xv drivers work
