MPlayer + TV = No sound

Hello everybody!

I DO have a sound with XawTV.

But with MPlayer I get no sound in no way - I have speakers connected directly to TV card and nothing comes out.
I suppose MPlayer doesn't initialize the sound! I have experienced same with XawTV only if I have my speakers off at launch time.

I am using:

Code:
mencoder tv:// -tv channels=66-TV3,52-RTE1:driver=v4l2:norm=PAL:width=768:height=576:brightness=52:contrast=50:saturation=45:volume=80:amode=0:outfmt=yuy2 -o tv3.avi -endpos 20 -vf crop=690:560,pp=lb -ovc lavc -oac mp3lame -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=900
...and I tried a lot of other options.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
