mplayer help


i install mplayer how do i open the graphic when i try
mplayer in xterminal i get all the keys that i can
use how do i open the graphic?

how did you install it?
Did you compile it from source?

ok......then you didn't do
./configure --enable-gui

(add other options you may want if they don't get autodetected)

do a ./configure --help to see all the options.

make; make install again

configure make and make install.
So yeah, just repeat the whole process.

I though the sources came with great documentation explaining step by step how to install and compile mplayer and all the libraries and skins necesary. What happened, they dont include the installation instructions anymore??
