Mplayer Fatal Error

after i installed Mplayer , i tried to open an mpg file but i'm getting the following erro message ;

Error opening/intisializing the selected video_out ( -vo ) Device

what does that means exactlly .... what do i need to make it run ..... ??????

could u tell how u install that is there error msg while u install ?

becoz if u just want to make it work use

yum install mplayer mplayer-gui

acctually i needed some dependency libaraies. after that the installation was smoth, nothing wronge. but i'm not able to run it at all.

ok run it again
yum install mplayer mplayer-gui <- this way will install depentcies for u

if finish without error just proceed with command

gmplayer
