Mounting ftp sites as ordinary user

Hi guys
Can some body tell me how to mount ftpsite as ordinary user.
I always have to su in order to do that.
I think I am still struggling with the permissions.I am able to mount it only as root and see the contents of my home directory as root.
Can I configure it in such a way that -
It should auto mount when I login as normal user. Can I set some flag to do so for a given user or for everybody.
Thanks
SS

What exactly are you wanting to do? Mount an ftp site to your local file system?
