Nope. It just means that you continue to monitor the files "in real time" as opposed to being able to close the Konsole window and do something else.
It's odd though ... Ctrl+a and then pressing the "d" key (on it own, not ctrl+a +d) always disengages screen for me. (??)
But you should be OK now.

Installed new KDE- still no luck. There is an error when I try to launch FF from konsole, but it only happens when I launch the first instance. If I open a new konsole and type firefox www.url.com it loads 100% OKAY.

Also, if I do "Open In New Window" when I click a link, the problem doesn't occur. Only when I launch it from the icon on the desktop or the dock.
