it felt good throwing a XP cd out my 3rd floor window

I saw a post a bit of the way down the list about someone dropping win for suse. Good going man!
I did the same thing today with sir Patricks distro..Slackware. I had been toying around with linux off and on for a few years. It basicly went:
mandrake7 > suse6.3 > mandrake8.2 > slackware9 > debian > freebsd5.1 > slackware 10 so here I am.
Got a spankin new asus a7n8x, barton 2600+ running slack 10. Eventualy I want to take the remaining parts of my old amd k7 slot-a 800mHz (NOT SOCKET, SLOT DANG-IT!) system and load it up with freebsd and play around with making some sort of local file server. Its a funny thing, I havent found a need for windows since the switch. Well okay, Soundforge and Magix Studio arent working on here, but i can throw 98 on and old stand alone I have sitting around at the studio for that.
so this is it, i dropped the training wheels ^_^
Id post a screenshot link, but im not all too hip on the server space thing yet. Maybe if I ever get a shell acount somewhere I'll edit a link in here.
