md5sum recursive on Centos 4.4

Hi,

I'm having problems locating a version of md5sum that will allow me to use the -r option. Currently I'm running Centos 4.4, which has md5sum but no -r option. Searching on google is a nightmare since there are so many pages that have the word md5sum..

Can anyone help? I'm copying some really important stuff from my old server to my new one and cant afford for anyting to be corrupt.

Nevermind, I found md5deep.

Just in-case anyone has a similar problem I downloaded the source from http://md5deep.sourceforge.net/md5deep.html#download and followed the compile instructions.

It worked a treat!
