cannot find rpm for mbrowse for fc7

compiling source leads to configuration problems:
source mbrowse-0.3.1.tar.gz at
http://www.kill-9.org/mbrowse/
./configure
......
** Could not locate any version of ucd-snmp or net-snmp
*** Either it is not installed, or installed in a bizarre location.
*** Try using one of the following switches:
*** --with-snmp-prefix=PFX
*** --with-snmp-include=DIR
*** --with-snmp-lib=DIR
configure: error: SNMP checks failed

but it is installed

[root@paradise mbrowse-0.3.1]# yum list net-snmp
------
Installed Packages
net-snmp.i386 1:5.4-16.fc7 installed
[root@paradise mbrowse-0.3.1]#

Almost anytime you go to compile something in Fedora you will need the devel package. In this case net-snmp-devel.

net-snmp-utils is another package you will probably need. Realize that this project (mbrowse)has been dead since 03. A lot of things have changed since then. You might also check with mail list for mbrowse that is listed on its home page.

Edit: You might need libsmi and libsmi-devel too. Maybe net-snmp-perl as well.

yes, have been using mbrowse for several years - great for the purpose - is there a replacement MIB browser somewhere? I live on an tropical island in the middle of nowhere and the natives do not speak C let alone C++ so it is a little lonely and difficult to keep up to date! Thanks for your help!
