MATLAB R14 Student edition on SUSE 9.3

I have just bought a student license copy of MATLAB R14. It uses the CD to authenticate the license, however I get a request for the CD every time I try to run MATLAB, does anyone know how to fix this? Or a way to work around. I left the cd in the drive I installed from. One possible problem is the lack of a cdrom device in fstab, is there a way to set one up without screwing up SUSE's auto detect stuff? Even better would be a way to fool MATLAB into thinking the disk was there when it's not.

Ok, I have got it working, it seems MATLAB have put some special hidden bit on the CD that it can't find using SUSE's default mount method for the CD, it needs to be added to fstab and mounted by the user before the disc will work properly. For now this is fine, I have another question however, is there a way to store an ISO of the disc on my hard drive and have this mounted when the computer boots so that I don't need to put the disc in every time (not because I want to sell the disc or anything naughty, just because I really am that lazy!)
