Mailscanner init script needed
I'm running Fedora Core 3 and recently decided to install MailScanner. I already had sendmail, spamassassin and clamav configured and running. I ran into the following issue when trying to start the MailScanner service:
/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 108: /etc/rc.status: No such file or directory
/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 109: rc_reset: command not found
Initializing incoming sendmail/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 79: startproc: command not found
/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 80: startproc: command not found
/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 81: rc_status: command not found
Initializing outgoing sendmail/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 99: startproc: command not found
/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 100: rc_status: command not found
/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 105: rc_status: command not found
Initializing MailScanner/etc/init.d/MailScanner: line 128: startproc: command not found
It looks like it built me an init script for SuSE? rc_ commands don't exist in FC3, so the script is useless to me. With my limited SuSE experience, I don't know what the output of those commands would look like... which prevents me from re-writing the script to work with FC3.
I assume this is just some compiler issue with FC3, and all I need is an init script. Could someone please provide me with /etc/init.d/MailScanner for Fedora Core 3?
Thanks in advance!
Dave
